Why we exist

WE ARE A FRANCHISE STUDIO.

Salt exists to create franchises and products that people genuinely love

We don’t think of ourselves as a game company, a publishing company, or a consumer products company. We are a franchise studio. Every book, game, product, experience, partnership, and piece of content should strengthen the entire brand.

This philosophy applies whether we are working on our own brands or working in partnership with outside IP.

Our goal isn’t simply to launch successful products. Our goal is to build worlds that people want to spend time in, and communities that want to come back again and again.
